Koh Kred is a small island located in Chao Phraya River in the province of Nonthaburi, and is some 2 km. long and 1 km wide. It has seven main villages, the largest and most populous being Ban Mon.

If you want to drive, you can follow the sign to Chaeng-Wat-Ta-Na road, also can take a van (around an hour) from the Victory Monument or Chatuchak Market (JJ Market) for 25 baht/person.

Koh kred is opens on the weekend during in the morning until 6 pm. ( I recommend you to be there around 10 am.)  At koh kred, you can rent the bicycle for 20 baht to ride around the island. On the way there are many local shops and restaurants you can stop by.

First of all, I recommend you to visit the temples.

After I enjoyed bicycling and made temples tour. I found one local food " Khao-Chae " which means "rice soaked in water" which can help me to feel fresh and cool down. MUST TRY ! =)

Are you looking for something sweet after lunch? Let me show you what else you MUST TRY at koh kred. If you have heard about Thai dessert you come to the right place. At koh kred is the one of the famous place to make desserts and they make it fresh for you. There are many kinds of dessert but the main ingredient for Thai dessert is " Yolk ", you can see from the color there are always in yellow color.

Koh kred is the one of my favorite place because it is not far from my house and I can do a lot of things here. I have been here more than 3 times but believe it or not, there is one place I have never got inside. I don't know why I didn't walk and take a look but not this time.

This is a .......

All i can say was just " Wow ", They were so amazing to made those things and it was very beautiful products. A woman came to me and said " You can try if you want " Of course i said " Yes!"ํ
You just need to pay for the soil (50-60 baht) and they will teach you how to do. (There is no any service charge) Let's see my work ! It was not too bad right ! Haha

If you love the local tradition way I recommend you to visit Koh kred once and you will never forget. =) For this post I will say goodbye with a cutie dog from koh kred. hehe  Thank you for visiting my blog and see you again!

Review : Here is Amphawa.

If you are looking some place to relax, that is not too far from Bangkok, Amphawa is a very good choice. Amphawa is a district of Samutsongkram province located in the west of Thailand. One of the famous places in Amphawa is the floating market where you can see the "canal-side" way life - the real traditional one.

Here there are many activities you can spend time doing on either a sleep-over or a one day trip. For example during the day you can take a boat to visit temples (boat ride: 50 baht/person), then in the evening take walk through the floating market which is the best choice because it is not too hot and it is open until late night. Around 7 p.m. it is a good time to take a boat (just 60 baht/person) to see the fireflies.

My friend and I had planed to go Amphawa on long weekend, unfortunately all hotels and resorts near the canal were fully booked, so we decided to drive there for one day trip and also packed our bag in case we got lucky found an available place. Haha!

We left Bangkok around noon and arrived at Amphawa around 3 pm. because of the traffic but actually Amphawa is just around 63 km. from Bangkok. You can also take a van from Victory monument to Amphawa, it's very inexpensive! Anyway we got there too early to go to floating market then we drove to the temples nearby.

Temple#1."วัดภุมรินทร์กุฎีทอง (bhum-ma-rin-ku-dee-thong)"

At the bhum-ma-rin-ku-dee-thong temple there is a old traditional house called " Reun-Thai-Ku-Dee-Thong"

The puppet museum in  " Reun-Thai-Ku-Dee-Thong"

Temple#2. "วัดบางกุ้ง (ฺbang-kung)"
This is the one of the famous temple, you can see where the tree grew and covered the Buddhist sanctuary which helped it not get burned down by an enemy.

One Buddha inside named "Nil-Ma-Nee"

So we visited only 2 temples because we were very hungry ..... haha  Anyway, on our way back to floating market we saw the litchi (Lychee) garden and we couldn't just drive past. haha!

The farmer said this year there are a lot of litchi (Lychee) because at the beginning of year the weather was very cold. They put a table in front of the garden and sell it right there just 90 baht/kilo, you can take a walk in the garden and just pick the fresh ones to eat....ahhhh imagine how good it tastes....fresh food from the trees.

Finally!!!!! We were at the floating market !!!!!!  All different kinds of food was waiting for us (after we got the nice car park for 60 baht and closed to floating market). First thing we plan to eat is SEAFOOD!! YEAH!!  i love seafood so much. (>_<)

Right! We order seafood from that boat and sat down on the on a small chair on the side walk. hahaha
We also order squid but i guess we were too hungry to forgot to took a photo.

I am sure someone wants to know how come the canal has seafood. It's because Amphawa is the place where mixes between the water from the sea and the river. That's why! you can get the fresh seafood here.

The question is " Are we full? " No..not at all... We took a walk and found the Thai curry with rice noodle. Oh again that we couldn't just walk away so we sat down and had some. Hey, girls can eat much more than you can imagine. hahaha

This is " Green curry with rice noodle "
You can order in Thai as "Ka-Nom-Cheen-Kang-Keaw-Wan"

Now we were really full. Let me show you around how was it looks like. We went to Amphawa on long holiday so it was pretty crowded of people.

Do you like massage ? Let's try Massage cruise. =)

All pictures here are just a small part of Amphawa that I show you but it has much more than this to do on your holiday. So i recommend you guys to visit here i bet you will love it!! =)

Thank you for visiting my blog. So please feel free to correct my english also can ask me to get more information of Amphawa ! =)
